Madhuri Dixit has not been frequently working in films after her marriage. Recently, Jahnvi Kapoor has confirmed through her Instagram that Madhuri will step into her mother’s shoes for Karan Johar’s next production venture. Well, Sridevi was about to play a prominent role in Karan’s next but after the demise of this legendary actress, Madhuri Dixit has been approached to play her part.

This upcoming film will be directed by 2 States fame Abhishek Verman. If sources are to be trusted it will star Alia, Varun, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha & Sanjay Dutt as well. This was about to be Dutt’s collaboration with Sridevi after long 25 years. On the other hand, Sanjay’s pair with the Dhak Dhak Girl is also immensely appreciated by the audience.

The Iconic Jodi will share the screen after 21 years

Madhuri Dixit & Sanjay Dutt have given several hits together. They were seen together in Mahaantna in the year 1997. Some of their major films are Saajan, Khatron Ke Khiladi, Sahibaan, Khalnayak & many more. Also, they will be sharing the screen after 21 years. There are some rumors buzzing in the industry that they will be paired together for Shiddat. But, Karan has recently confirmed via his twitter that it’s not Shiddat.

Madhuri’s upcoming projects in Bollywood

Along with this film, Madhuri Dixit will also appear in Total Dhamaal which is slated to be released on 7 December 2018. After long 4 years, she is on board for these two major projects this year. She appeared last in Gulaab Gang in the year 2014. According to some sources, the actress will soon start shooting from this April & the film will go on the floors in April 2019.
