Two legendary superstars, Amitabh Bachchan & Rishi Kapoor are going to appear on the screen together in their upcoming film, 102 Not Out. They will be working together after long 27 years. Earlier, they worked together in Ajooba in the year 1991. Besides this, the duo has also done many superhits together such as Naseeb (1981), Coolie (1983), Kabhie Kabhie (1976), Amar Akbar Anthony (1977) & many more.
Amitabh-Rishi will be seen as father-son
So far, we have seen the duo portraying the characters of two brothers or best friends. For a change, this time they will be seen as father & son. Yes, this is making the biggest buzz about this movie. While Amitabh Bachchan will be essaying the character of a father, Rishi Kapoor will play his son. Along with the makers, the actors are themselves very much excited to portray these characters & renew their images, unlike best friends image on the screen.
Earlier, there was some news regarding the songs that both the actors will jam a song together for this film. Well, nothing more has been revealed except for Big B’s tweet which clarifies that he has already recorded a song.
Based on a Gujarati play
102 Not Out is based on an amazing Gujarati play of the same name which is written by a famous author, Saumya Joshi. The Filmmakers thought it would be a good idea to convert this blockbuster play into a Bollywood movie. Then Oh My God fame director, Umesh Shukla came up with the idea to feature & direct two legendary actors together. Hoping that they will rock again, let’s wait till its release. This movie is scheduled to go on the floors on 4th May 2018.
