Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap revealed his next film will release on May 27. The film is titled “Raman Raghav 2.0” and will feature Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vicky Kaushal in main characters. The film is set in the 60s and plotted on a real life story of a serial killer.
Nawaz will play the role of the killer while the “Masaan” star Vicky plays the cop. The director wrapped up the film last year and announced the release date on Twitter. Anurag is making his comeback in B-town with this thriller after Bombay Velvet. During the shooting, Nawaz was diagnosed with dengue and had to terminate filming.
Vicky was last seen sharing the screen with actress Sarah Jane Dias in “Zubaan”. This is the second time Nawaz and Vicky are teaming up. Vicky was earlier an assistant in Anurag’s Bollywood epic “Gangs of Wasseypur” which starred Nawaz as the protagonist.
