So far, Dangal has been the highest Worldwide Indian grosser till date, while Baahubali 2 remains the highest domestic Indian grosser. But now, this equation is soon going to change. After many Bollywood movies, it is the turn of the epic giant now, to hit the China Box Office. Yes! Baahubali 2 is releasing in China tomorrow after 1 year of its release.
The worldwide collection of Baahubali 2 stands at Rs. 1600 Crores, while Dangal has already crossed Rs. 2000 Crores at the worldwide box office. But with Baahubali 2 releasing in China, this minor gap will soon be covered and this movie will emerge as the biggest Indian winner till date. Even though Dangal enjoyed a 2 months run in China, Baahubali 2 will open for 1 month only for now. This is because China gives 1-month license to foreign movies to be released in the theatres.
Now, it would be really very exciting to see as to who emerges out as a Worldwide box office winner. Out of Dangal and Baahubali 2, the latter has every time superseded Dangal. But it lacked behind at the global level. Now the scores will soon change in favor of Baahubali 2. This will prove as a major feat for Prabhas, who rose to extreme fame from this movie series only.
Other projects of Prabhas
This is not the only achievement of Prabhas this year. There are many more upcoming feats in the kitty of this popular actor. He is now getting into the Global zone, where he will dominate most of the Indian market globally. While his biggest blockbuster is releasing in China tomorrow, his upcoming movie Saaho is also in full swing. Currently, the actor and the team is in Abu Dhabi for the major shooting of the film. If sources are to be trusted, he will be doing a power packed action sequence on Burj Khalifa and also underwater diving.
Other than that, his next movie, which is untitled yet, will be shot entirely in Europe. While most of the Indian movies, Bollywood or South Indian, are shot at global locations, it happens very less that majority or rather whole of the movie is shot globally. Prabhas’ 20th movie will achieve this feat. And with all of this, Prabhas has totally gone into Global domination mode now.
