But she gave a very pleasant surprise to her fans when she marked her debut in Bollywood through “Rock On”. The movie was a huge success at the box office. And thus started her journey into the film industry. Even though she could not become an extremely popular name, yet she managed to bag some good no. of hits in her kitty.
Rajeev Khandelwal
Fascinating the audience through Sab TV serial “Left Right Left” and “Kahin To Hoga”, the actor turned to Bollywood. He made his debut with the film “Aamir” in 2008. Although the movie was a flop at box office, Rajeev’s role was greatly loved by the audience. Even though the actor was a highly successful Hindi serial actor, he could not establish himself strongly in Bollywood despite doing several films.
Sushant Singh Rajput
Impressing the audience with his sweet role in “Pavitra Rishta”, Sushant also made a sudden exit from the serial. He made his entry into Bollywood with Kai Po Che!. For first few movies, he struggled to gain attention till he came across a jackpot. A popular serial actor also made his strong hold in Bollywood. His portrayal of Dhoni in the movie “M.S. Dhoni” was highly liked by everybody. The movie was a huge blockbuster and everybody praised him for portraying Dhoni so aptly. But this movie’s success can majorly be credited to M.S. Ankita Lokhande
Being the female protagonist of “Pavitra Rishta”, Ankita also gained immense popularity as an actor. She was also extremely famous as the girlfriend of Sushant Singh Rajput. After working for several years in TV industry, she finally made her debut in Bollywood. Her first movie has been Sanjay Dutt starrer, “Malang”, where she played the role of a cop.
Mouni Roy
The famous Nagin actress continued to be the part of television industry for more than 10 years. She rose to fame when she appeared as “Sati” in the television serial “Devon Ke Dev… Mahadev”. Mouni is widely popular across the nation as the lead protagonist of the serial “Naagin”. After her successful journey in the Television industry, she marked her entry into Bollywood with Akshay Kumar starrer Gold. Seeing her success in Naagin, she bagged multiple roles in movies simultaneously.
Himansh Kohli
Not many people are aware that the “Yaariyan” star also belongs to TV industry. This chocolate boy was first seen in the role of Raghav Oberoi in Channel V’s daily soap, “Humse Hai Life”. The show was oriented towards school and college going students, and hence was less popular among the youth. When the serial was ongoing, the actor made sudden disappearance for a long duration. He was later seen on the big screen with his super hit movie “Yaariyaan”. Although the movie was hit, the actor could not gain much popularity among people due to his child-like image.

After giving so many years to the television industry, Mrunal Thakur is all set to enter the Hindi film industry. The actress gained much popularity after working in television’s most popular serial, Kumkum Bhagya. Mrunal also appeared in a reality show Nach Baliye. Earlier, she had worked in Marathi films as well. Now, she is going to make her debut in Bollywood with Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30.
