Movie Review
According to Times of India, Ittefaq is not a taut thriller that one expects to be. But if you have the patience to watch the film then this suspense drama has a lot of mysteries to be unveiled. Also, Akshaye Khanna has done a remarkable job in the film. Akshaye Khanna’s crackling screen performance, acting prowess, and sublime charm is the center of attraction of the film.
According to Bollywood Hungama, in the beginning, Ittefaq starts on a thrilling note and its initials are full of mystery. With the progress of the film, it becomes boring to watch and very slow. There is no entertainment value in the film and the shock element is absent from the film. It is not going to do good business at the box office.
According to Hindustan Times, the plot of the film is not water light and the twists are not that surprising but the way Abhay Chopra has made use of its resources is really appreciable. The biggest achievement of the film is that it is filled with mysteries and doesn’t give the audience much time to think about the event twice. Overall, it is a decent enough crime story to keep you hooked and guessed.
According to NDTV, the film is dull and a person requires a lot of patience to watch it till the end. Despite the relatively brisk running time and a double murder at its heart, the case runs cod and the film runs unforgivably dull.
According to BOTY, Ittefaq is a good mysterious film to watch and it will keep you guessing till the end. All the actors especially Akshaye Khanna have done a very good job. The film is a bit slow but if you are looking for a good film this weekend then go and watch it.
Summary
A Slow but a mysterious film to watch!
