Promising young actor Varun Dhawan has revealed that Karan Johar’s much-ambitious project “Shuddhi”, starring him, has been put on hold and the duo is set for another project. The 28-year-old Varun said the movie will be announced soon but did not divulge any other details. “’Shuddhi’ is not happening now but I am doing another project with Dharma (productions), which will be announced soon,” the actor told reporters here.

It was rumored that Varun and Alia Bhatt would star in “Badrinath Ki Dulhania”, a sequel to Johar’s “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania”. But the actor did not confirm whether his next project with Johar is that particular film.

Varun is doing “Judwaa 2”, directed by his father David Dhawan which is the sequel of Salman Khan’s 1997 hit comedy “Judwaa”. He is also featuring in “Dishoom”, directed by his brother Rohit, also stars John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez.
