Mamta has been one of the gorgeous and most popular actresses of South India. After a break of 8 long years, the actress is back to Telugu cinema. And this time, she will be pairing opposite Prabhu Deva in his next movie.
Mamta entered the industry as a singer. Her first debut song was ‘Rakhee’ sung in NTR’s movie. The song became a huge hit. And so did Mamta Mohandas. Alongside singing, she also started appearing in movies. The last film that she did in Telugu was Nagarjuna‘s Kedi, in 2010. Soon after that, she took leave from Tollywood. Even though absent from this world, she was very much active in Malayalam industry. For the last 8 years, she had done more than 20 films in Malayalam.

After her long break, she is now back to Tamil and Telugu world. Her next movie is a Telugu-Tamil bilingual movie, Oomai Vizhigal. In this movie, she will be seen with Prabhu Deva. According to the reports, the shooting for the movie has already been started in Ooty. And this movie will not be the remake of 1983 movie of the same name.
