This is a story of three middle-class men who are not only neighbours but also work together. Their monthly salaries are not sufficient to fulfill their daily needs so they borrow money to meet their expenses. Their wives Meena, Anjali and Bimla bear insult in the society because of their inability to pay the house rent and their children's school fee on time. Their new neighbour, Zhoombri, advise them to take a job but this is not acceptable to their husbands as they think that woman's only task is to do daily household chores. Will the three husbands allow their wives to do a job?
