Hum Saath Saath Hain

This film portrays the love and affection shared by the family of Ramkishen and Mamta. They live in a joint family with their 3 sons, Vivek, Prem and Vinod, and their daughter Sangita. The eldest son Vivek is the stepson of Mamta, but is treated with more love and care by the family. He is very shy since he was disabled in his right arm while saving his younger brothers during childhood. Soon he is married to Sadhana, the only daughter of a big business tycoon, Adarsh. Prem and Vinod also have sweethearts in the form of Preeti and Sapna, respectively. The close bond of this big and happy family is challenged by a misunderstanding. Mamta gets insecure with the thought that Vinod may take over the business, leaving behind her other 2 sons. This understanding causes a divide in the family. Now how Mamta realizes her mistake and welcomes the son and daughter-in-law of the house back, forms the rest of the story.
