Kathiresan aka Kaththi, a criminal, escapes from the Kolkata prison and comes to Chennai, where he comes across his doppelganger Jeeva, fighting for his life after being shot at by unknown men. When Kaththi decides to pass his off and leave with lump sum, a turn of events takes place. Who really is Jeeva and what Kaththi does to him forms the Storyline.
