Abhay lives with his mother and younger sister in Mumbai. On receiving a letter from his grandfather, they all move to his place, first time experiencing the joy of a joint family. But situation is completely different there. He is met with a strange attitude of his grandfather. But with his jolly and admirable nature, he soon wins the hearts of all family members. He also succeeds in bringing together 2 feuding families much to the dislike of Rudra Pratap. During this get-together, he falls in love with Mangala. But before he gets a chance to disclose his love to his dadaji, story turns sour. Some hard truths from past resurface and he is forced to leave Mangala. Will Mangala accept his noble intentions or a second feud is on its way?
