Refusing to accept the same fate as her sisters, and get married to a boy from the same caste, Sona arrives in Mumbai to become a film star. Here she meets Vikram, who has just moved to the city leaving the comforts of his parents Delhi home. They both develop a romantic relationship. Disappointment and shock also await Vikram when he was candidly told by his friend that he has no talent and it’s better for him to return back to Delhi to handle his father’s business. It looks like the end of the road for Vikram and Sona.
