Travis Bickle is an ex-marine veteran and now works as a taxi-driver in New York city. He carries in his mind very unrealistic views and wants to clean the filth of the city. He starts the process by planning to kill the presidential candidate and then rescuing 12-year old prostitute girl, Iris, from the influence of her pimp.
