Anurag Kashyap’s upcoming film Mukkabaaz’s teaser released yesterday. Watching the teaser, one can clearly tell that the film will be based on the life of a boxer from Uttar Pradesh, who falls in love with a Brahmin girl. The film is co-produced by Aanand L Rai along with Phantom Films and Eros International and directed by Anurag Kashyap. It is another film based on the life of a sports personality. The film seems to have a genre of comedy in the teaser.
Earlier Anand L Rai has directed films like “Tanu Weds Manu” and “Raanjhana”. And Anurag Kashyap is known for directing super hit films like “Gangs Of Wasseypur”, “Ugly” and “Black Friday”. These two personalities belong to two different worlds. Hence, it would be an interesting project to have an eye on when the two most defining ‘game-changers’ will come together for Mukkabaaz.
Also, we can hear the hip hop music in the background which clearly hints about the famous artist DIVINE making his debut in the Bollywood. “This was for my favourite director, with my favourite producer and my debut. I gave whatever I had,” DIVINE said in a statement.
Although there is no information regarding the star cast of the film, taking into consideration the previous record of the director Anurag Kashyap and producer Aanand L Rai, one can have good expectations from this movie. The film is officially announced to be released on Nov 10, 2017.
