After her critically acclaimed roles in ‘Baby’ and ‘Pink’, Taapsee Pannu is all geared up to amaze you with her power packed performance in her upcoming film ‘Naam Shabana’. This soon-to-be-released film of Neeraj Pandey is inspired by the real life events of one of the several female raw agents who are hired for specific missions.
As India’s first spin-off film, ‘Naam Shabana’ is based on Taapsee’s character in ‘Baby’, and features the journey of Shabana Kaif becoming a RAW agent. Taapsee was hugely applauded for her role in Neeraj Pandey’s ‘Baby’, which revolves around a group of undercover agents preventing terrorist attacks from taking place in India. With ‘Naam Shabana’, Taapsee will again wow the audience with her thrilling performance.
From shooting to jumping off building to breaking glasses and punching all the bad guys around her, she will keep the audience at the edge of their seats and give them an action-packed adrenaline rush.
While the first trailer of the film will launch on Feb. 10, 2017, the production house has released a behind-the scene video termed ‘Naam Shabana Sizzle’ to give you a feel of the upcoming explosive package. The footage shows a determined Taapsee undergoing a rigorous training to essay her role with perfection.
This Shivan Nair directorial venture also stars Anupam Kher, Manoj Bajpai and Malayalam actor Prithviraj in lead roles. The film will feature an extended cameo of Akshay Kumar as Ajay Singh Rajput, the lead of the RAW operations.
