October Movie Review: A Slow and Emotional Film

Varun Dhawan and Banita Sandhu starrer movie, October has released today at the box office. This is a completely different film from all the previous projects of the actor, Varun Dhawan. Earlier, Varun Dhawan tried something different in the movie Badlapur but that film could not succeed on the big screens. The director Shootjit Sircar, has selected the debutant Banita Sandhu for his movie. Have a look at the detailed review of the movie, October.

Acting

Varun Dhawan has played his role very well and reminds us of his emotional character from his film, Badlapur. Also, the actress Banita Sandhu has chosen a challenging role in his debut Bollywood movie. Although her role in the movie is not big, she has done complete justice to her character. Only there were some places where the actress needs to work more. But for a debutant, this is a fine performance.

Story

The story of October is emotional and slow. This type of serious storyline demands patience from the audience and not everyone loves to watch it. It keeps the moviegoers indulged in it and waits for the climax to get unfolded.

Songs

All the songs of the movies are good to hear and have received a positive response from the listeners. Most of them are sad and directly impacts the mind of a person.

Direction

Shoojit Sircar has done a great work on this film and paid attention to a lot of details. Just like one of his previous films, Piku, this film gives an important lesson about understanding the human emotions.
