The actor’s production house, Purple Pebble Pictures, today announced its entry into regional cinema. The details of the three projects undertaken by this production house will be released soon.

The shooting of a seven-minute film titled ‘Ek Khoobsoorat Ittefaq’, starring television actors Shashank Vyas of ‘Balika Vadhu’ fame and Adaa Khan of ‘Naagin’ fame is recently completed. The vision of her company is to create a platformto tell great stories, irrespective of their genre and language, and also to provide a solid platform for new talent in acting as well as across all other areas including direction, scriptwriting etc. PPP has also included films in Bhojpuri, Marathi, and Punjabi.

The film is about a boy and young girl who meet in a party and dealing with consequences of what happens on that thrilling night. This film is directed by Manav Bhinder who has earlier directed another short film titled ‘Ankahin Batein’ in which Manish Raisinghan and Avika Gor had acted.

Since priyanka is busy in ‘Quantico’, the star’s mother (Madhu) and Mausi (Neela Akhuri) are supervising the project.  “We are storytellers and that is only enhanced by being able to tell stories in various languages. Regional cinema in India has such amazing depth and great cinematic talent,” Priyanka said.
