After the death of Jayalalitha in December 2016, a vacuum is created in Tamil Nadu. Hence, no good competition in politics is remaining. So, to serve people of the state better, Rajinikanth plunged in. Recently in December 2017, he announced his decision to start his own political party. The reason behind this is to take forward the service of the state which Jayalalitha has left behind.
Rajinikanth’s speech
Yesterday on March 5th, he delivered his 1st ever speech after his political entry. This speech was held at MGR Educational and Research Institute. On the event, he also unveiled the statue of MGR. And it would not be a shock that where the capacity of institute auditorium is very less, more than 10,000 people turned up to hear their favorite star.
MGR was the founder of AIADMK and also the popular Indian actor. And Rajinikanth, in his speech yesterday, stated that he wishes to carry forward MGR’s “good governance”. MGR is a role model for all those actors who wish to plunge in politics. And now with Rajinikanth’s new venture, many people are looking forward to receiving good governance in their state.
Furthermore, not only Rajinikanth, the popular Tamil actor Kamal Haasan has also announced his political entry. Kamal’s party is titled Makkal Needhi Maiam, standing for People’s Justice Centre. Although Kamal Haasan has announced his party and agenda, Rajinikanth is yet to launch his party. If sources are to be trusted, Thalaiva will launch the party as soon as the next elections will be announced.
Upcoming Movies
For now, people can catch him on the big screen with his 2 upcoming movies this year, Kaala and 2.0. Where Kaala shows the politics of Mumbai, 2.0 is the 2nd installment of superhit movie, Enthiran (Robot). With actor himself diving in Politics, his movie Kaala is supposed to bring together a large number of audience to theatres. Just like his 1st political speech, a huge success is expected from Kaala as well. For more latest news, stay tuned to BOTY.
