Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif starrer Jagga Jasoos hits the theaters today. Both the stars are working together after 7 years. The film is directed by Anurag Basu ad is produced by Ranbir Kapoor. The date of its release undergoes several shifts and now finally it is released today. The film is released on approximately 1800 in India and on around 600 screens in overseas.

The story of the film revolves around the search of his father by a Detective named Jagga. Katrina Kaif is playing the role of a journalist and is accompanying Detective Jagga in search for his father. The target audience of the film is Kids. In their last film Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani, both Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif were applauded for their chemistry with each other.

Movie Review

According to a famous movie critic, Girish Johar, the film starts with a decent opening in top cities and dull opening elsewhere.

Nihit of Times of India praises the different style of music in the film and the screenplay is structured from the comic book.

According to Saibal Chatterjee of NDTV, Ranbir Kapoor carries the weight of the film without letting the strain show. If the film collects well, it is mainly because of main star turn that is worth its weight in gold and the direction of Anurag Basu it imparts to film’s fantasy.

Shubhra Gupta of Indian Express says a couple of sparkling songs of the film are great fun. According to her, Ranbir Kapoor is too old to play the character of a school boy.
