Few days back, Salman complained that his family liked Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ over ‘Sultan’. And maybe this is a reason why the star has decided to be a ‘Haanikarak Bapu’ in his next film. Surprisingly it will be a dance drama.
In an interview with a weekly magazine, Salman spilled the beans about his new project. He said that he will be playing father to a 13-year-old girl in Remo D’Souza’s next film. It will be like the Hollywood Step Up franchise and he will be a trained dancer. Salman thinks it’s painful to learn dance but effortless hard work should be seen on-screen.
It’s over 18 years that Salman has played a reluctant father in ‘Jab Pyaar Kisi Se Hota Hai’ and he is all set to play a parent again.
According to sources, Remo approached Salman a year ago but he was busy shooting Kabir Khan‘s war drama – Tubelight. So, Remo also moved on to his superhero project ‘A Flying Jatt’ that hailed the box office in mid-2016. It was just two months back when Remo was present at Salman’s birthday bash that the two decided to go on with the film.
The world knows that Salman and dance are two different things, and Remo’s projects are all based on core dancing. Considering these polar facts, the upcoming film will seem to be worth a wait!
