Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra are all set to work together in their second film named “Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar“. They are reuniting after five long years. The title of the film is quite different and has filled the audience with excitement. This is also another project of YRF in collaboration with director Dibaker Banerjee. Before this, they had collaborated on the award-winning film Titli and critically acclaimed Detective Byomkesh Bakshy.
Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor have previously worked together in Ishaqzaade. Their chemistry and performance were exceptional in that film and it had received a positive response from the audience. Their role is very much similar in Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. In this movie, they both are displayed as protagonists. They represent two people from two completely different Indias. They have one thing in common – their mistrust, suspicion, and hate for each other.
Talking about the project, director Dibakar Banerjee said, “This feels like my first film, again. I’ve had to unlearn everything I know to tell this story about a man and a woman who can’t stand each other but can’t survive without each other.”
This movie is going to present a very sizzling chemistry between the 2 popular actors. To this, Arjun Kapoor says, “It feels great to be back home at YRF working with Adi Sir and Parineeti, my most amazing and first ever co-actor. Dibakar Banerjee is a name synonymous with being the torchbearer of evolving new age cinema that engages and entertains. I can’t wait to work under his tutelage and vision. Parineeti Chopra added, “After Ishaqzaade, Arjun and I used to dream about working with Dibakar one day! His films are so different and always make an impact. I am soo ready to bite my teeth into this character and give the audience something intense!”
All eyes will be on Parineeti and Arjun to deliver another wonderful performance together after Ishaqzaade.
