All the new releases on this Friday failed to perform well at the box office. On the other hand, the holdover releases have done well as compared to the new ones. The three films namely Vodka Diaries, My Birthday Song, and Nirdosh failed to impress the audience with their content. But the holdover releases, 1921 and Tiger Zinda Hai are doing good business in comparison to the fresh releases. Let’s have a look at 1921 2nd weekend collection and Tiger Zinda Hai 5th Weekend business at the box office.

1921 – Performs Better But Gets Slow Down

The last week release, 1921 not only performed better than Kaalakaandi and Mukkabaaz. But also collected more money than last Friday’s new releases. In the first week, it collected decent money but slowed down in the second weekend. 1921 is expected to end its second weekend with around Rs. 2 crores, which would take its total collection till date to about Rs 13.50 crores. On the other hand, new films Vodka Diaries, My Birthday Song, and Nirdosh failed completely. Among these three films, only Vodka Diaries succeeded in getting itself count. But it also registered very low collection.

Tiger Zinda Hai 5th Weekend Collection

If there is one film which is dominating the box office for the last one month, then it is Tiger Zinda Hai. The film is running successfully even in its 5th weekend. On the first two days of its 5th week, TZH witnessed good growth and earned approximately Rs. 2 crores. On Sunday, it is expected to take its 5th weekend collection to Rs. 3.50 crores.

If the film manages to continue this performance in the coming days, then it may think of crossing the lifetime business of PK soon. Till date, the movie stands at Rs. 331.81 crores, which undoubtedly is a very good total.
