After having a decent first week at the box office, Padman is all set to face a big battle against two films this Friday. One of its opponents is a strong holdover film, Padmaavat, and the other one is a new release, Aiyaary. Seeing the good response to the film in week 1, Padman 2nd Friday collection is not expected to witness a major fall. Let’s have a look at the early estimates for today.

Crucial Test For the Film

Today is very crucial for the film as the new movie Aiyaary has made its entry at the box office. Also, the holdover release Padmaavat has refused to slow down. So it would be interesting to see how much response would Padman get today. The film must show less drop on its 2nd Friday to enjoy its journey at the box office. So it is imperative for Padman to compete with other two films effectively.

2nd Friday Early Estimates

Padman earned decent earnings in its first week and crossed the mark of Rs. 60 crores. The reason for this good number is good growth on Saturday and benefit due to partial holidays on the weekdays. It witnessed its first fall on Thursday which always happens on every 7th day of the first week.

On its 2nd Friday, it would show a drop as there is a good competition at the box office. But the magnitude of its drop will decide its future in the second week. Since it easily managed to compete with Padmaavat last Friday so it should not face any problem in dealing with Aiyaary. Padman is expected to show around 15% drop from its Thursday collection and would earn around Rs. 3.10 crores. With this, its total box office collection would easily cross Rs. 65 crores.
