Unaffected by New Releases
It is because of the merits of Padmaavat that the film remains unaffected due to new and holdover releases at the box office. Also, the flop show of the movie, Aiyaary would help the help this week in maintaining itself. And this is when it is not doing its business on the full screens. Had it gets a clean release after the controversy, it would have easily surpassed Rs. 380 crores.
4th Saturday Collection Early Estimates
Looking at the 4th Friday collection of Padmaavat, it is expected to remain strong this week. In the third week, Padmaavat enjoyed good collection because of partial holidays on the weekdays. But now, there is no holiday this week and the drop from last week would be more in numbers.
This Friday, Padmaavat earned Rs. 1.75 crores at the box office and is expected to show a good growth over the next two days. Padmavat Saturday collection would easily cross the mark of Rs. 2 crores and is likely to earn over Rs. 6 crores in the first three days of this week.
Padmaavat total box office collection crossed the mark of Rs. 269 crores and its lifetime business would surpass Rs. 280 crores.
