Aiyaary hit the theaters at the time when the holdover releases were doing well and also a new Hollywood release, Black Panther arrived at the box office. But this didn’t happen in the case of Aiyaary and also it failed to take even a good jump over the weekend. This led to a low first weekend total for the film.

Aiyaary earned Rs. 6.09 crores over the first weekend in the international markets. Out of all places, it collected highest in North America and the value is Rs. 2.34 crores.

Black Panther started its journey with a good collection but earned decently over the first weekend. The movie performed well but it was less effective than other similar Hollywood movies released earlier in India. In the first three days at the box office, Black Panther earned Rs. 19.35 crores. Seeing the trend of the film on the weekend, it was expected to show big drop on Monday but this didn’t happen. Black Panther held well on Monday and earned Rs. 3.27 crores taking its total collection over Rs. 22.62 crores.
