Hate Story 4, the fourth installment of the successful franchise, Hate Story has released today at the box office. The film introduces some new faces and is also made with a bigger budget than the previous films. Let’s have a look at Hate Story IV first day collection early estimates in details.
Before analysing the box office opening of the film, let’s have a look at the performance of the last three films of the same franchise. Here is the first day collection of the all the previous films:
First Day Collection of Hate Story 1, 2 and 3
- Hate Story – Rs. 2.07 crores
- Hate Story 2 – Rs. 4.82 crores
- Hate Story 3 – Rs. 8.54 crores
The film, Hate Story 4 is releasing at the time when the holdover release, SKTKS is doing remarkably well. Although there is a good reputation of the franchise, still it has to take a strong opening to hold well at the box office. The songs of the films and its trailer have received a positive response from the audience. But it fails to get positive reviews from the critics.
Opening Report:
Hate Story IV has opened on a low note in most of the places. Although the film has received a decent response in some cities, its overall opening report is poor. Now, it has become imperative for the film to attract a good amount of footfalls in the afternoon and evening shows to take its first day collection to a decent value.
Also, it would be a mistake to expect the opening of the film to be greater than Hate Story 3. But the film has to cross the first day collection of Hate Story 2 to make itself count. More updates will be made available soon.
Update: Hate Story 4 failed to perform well on its opening day and collected Rs. 3.76 crores at the box office.
