Sajjan Singh Rangroot has completed its first four days at the box office. The Punjabi movie earned decently over the first weekend and collected over Rs. 4 crores. Journey So Far
Diljit Dosanjh’s movie started its journey at the box office on a decent note and could not get a solid start. The movie showed a decent growth of 25% on Saturday. But the film witnessed a good jump on Sunday to take its total over Rs. 4 crores. Well, the film received positive reviews from the audience and critics. Also, it also gathered an excellent response to its trailer. The charisma of Diljit didn’t work this type for this war film based on true events of World War 1.
Sajjan Singh Rangroot was promoted well before its release still it didn’t get the expected response on its opening day. The release date of the movie was also chosen intelligently on the Shaheedi Divas of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev to appeal strongly to the audience. One fact can be inferred from the film performance that Punjabi comedy and masala movies receive more response in Punjab than war films.
Overseas Collection
Sajjan Singh Rangroot performed decently in the overseas and collected Rs. 4.45 crores. This collection does not include European markets. The key markets for the film are UK, USA, Australia, Canada, Singapore and New Zealand. It earned a maximum amount in the Canadian market and get strong footfalls to its theaters.
4th Day Collection
Sajjan Singh Rangroot earned decently on Monday and witnessed a drop of around 30% from Friday. This is a good performance for any Punjabi film on its first weekday. Here is the day-wise box office collection of the movie:

The film has to remain strong on the coming days and earn a good amount at the box office. On 6 April, a new Punjabi war movie, Subedar Joginder Singh is releasing on the big screens so Sajjan Singh Rangroot has got only limited time to collect more money in the theaters.
