Purushottam Agarwal, a London-based widower, raises his granddaughter Nikki on his own, after the death of his son and daughter-in-law. He wants her to marry an Indian groom. When pressurized into marriage, she leaves her boyfriend and moves to India. There she meets Romy, a tourist guide. She hatches a plan to make Romy his fake fiance to get rid of his grand father’s pressure. She presents Romy as a wealthy man of India and later asks him to act all villainous so that her grandfather changes his views about Indian grooms. But destiny has something else in store for this unique love-hate couple. Every negative attempt by Romy only leads him closer to Purushottam. Will Nikki ever fall in love with Romy? What will happen when Purushottam comes to know of Romy’s real face?
