Salman is back again! The 2014 blockbuster, Kick is all set to get a rocking sequel. “Kick” was an incredible success, so the creators decided to come up with a sequel too.
Sajid Nadiadwala’s directorial venture “Kick” was an official remake of a Telugu movie having the same name. The action film, starring Salman and Jacqueline Fernandez, turned out to be a blockbuster.
It seems the director is under a lot of pressure with the script of Kick 2. While the first installment was a remake of the South drama, this time, there will be a fresh script for the sequel. “We are still writing. It’s in the scripting stage. It will mostly happen next year. There is a pressure, but we are working hard on the script,” Sajid said.
Salman’s character of Devil/Devi Lal Singh from Kick became quite popular with its punch lines. The writers are brainstorming real hard to come up with a stronger character. The original action drama had Jacqueline Fernandez as the leading lady although Kick 2 will now have a new actress.
Buzz is, actresses Kriti Sanon and Amy Jackson are being considered for the sequel. But according to Sajid, nothing is finalized about it.
