Well, we all are aware of humongous success Indian movies are getting in China. After Aamir Khan created history with PK, Dangal and Secret Superstar, Salman Khan released his Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Now, the next in line to feature at Chinese Box Office is Irrfan Khan’s Hindi Medium.
Hindi Medium is 2018’s 3rd movie to release in China. And it will be releasing on 4th April. Before this, Secret Superstar and Bajrangi Bhaijaan were released this year. And both of them have proven to be a great success. When Secret Superstar was released, it beat Aamir Khan’s Dangal at China Box Office on its 1st weekend. Talking about Bajrangi Bhaijaan, this movie is Salman Khan’s 1st movie to feature in China. But since it got very less screen space as compared to other movies, it could not beat Dangal or Secret Superstar’s 1-week collections. In fact, its total 1st-week collection stands at Rs. 116 Crores, where Secret Superstar collected Rs. 174 Crores in just 3 days.
But nevertheless, this has proved to be a great opportunity for Indian movies. And now, Hindi Medium is also going to enjoy that opportunity. Hindi Medium has collected around Rs. 70 Crores in India so far. And considering social message movies prove to be much more successful in China, like Secret Superstar, Hindi Medium is going to be a great success.
