Alia Bhatt’s last film Badrinath Ki Dulhania was very amusing that has been liked by the audiences and now she is back again with the film Raazi. Raazi is the project directed by Meghna Gulzar and it will be produced by Dharma production and the Junglee Pictures. Raazi is based on the novel ‘Calling Sehmat’ by Harinder Sikka and Alia will play the role of a Kashmiri girl in that movie.
The movie revolves around an army officer across the border who will provide the Indian Intelligence with valuable information during the Indo-Pak war of 1971 in order to save the lives of thousands of Indian soldiers. Alia Bhatt will play the role of Sehmat, the wife of that army officer.
So, this is the first time the Junglee Pictures and Karan Johar are collaborating together for the movie Raazi while the director Meghna Gulzar has worked with the Junglee Pictures in the past also in Talvar.
Alia Bhatt is really very intelligent and delivered her powerful and convincing performance in almost every movie. So, we are very eager to see her now in the character of a Pakistani wife. The shooting will start from July.
