Badrinath Ki Dulhania is receiving an overwhelming response. After a remarkable weekend the romantic comedy has received a favourable response on Monday too. The fourth day collections of the movie were 11.75 crore which boosts the total business of the movie to 54.8 crore.
Although there was a drop in the collections in the morning because of Holi but once the festive mood was over people started flooding the multiplexes from the evening. Several Cineplex’s retained the weekend rates which helped in adding to the Monday collections.
Even those theaters who didn’t manage to draw the crowd in the weekend were houseful on Monday. With such a delightful response, Tuesday is also expected to be good for Badrinath Ki Dulhania.
The movie’s potential seems to be good and also has a good chance of reaching a collection of 70 crore in the first week.
The movie seems to be doing well not only in the domestic screens but international screens too.
Badrinath Ki Dulhania has also become Varun and Alia’s highest opening weekend grosser as the leading stars. Student of the Year and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania gathered 30 crore and 33.74 crore respectively in their opening weekend.
