It was a Tremendous day at the box office. We finally got to see the epic Hollywood film Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice which we have been awaiting since 2014, when its first teaser was released. And Rocky Handsome: John Abraham‘s home production film and directed by the great Nishikant Kamat. Both the films did great business at the box office but its worth to see how they are going to fare hereafter.
Rocky Handsome Collected Rs 6.5 crores net on its first day at box office. This is a decent figure, it could have been much more, if there wasn’t competition. On the other Hand Batman vs Superman netted approximately Rs. 9.25 crores net on its first day.
BvS is completely dominating Rocky Handsome at the Multiplexes, with it being people’s first preference over the weekend. But here is something interesting. Critics all over the world have handed a very mediocre or negative review to the superhero film. Generally, it shouldn’t stop since the fanbase is too strong. But it should be affected a little.
On the other hand, Rocky Handsome has been mostly praised by the Critics. So it should definitely see a jump over the weekend. Only time will tell us the magnitude of the jump.
