Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor starrer Befikre, the rom-com movie managed to earn pretty well in the opening day with the first day collection reaching Rs. 10.36 crores in the domestic box office. Mainly targeted at youngsters and college goers this movie has strong and insane music while the other reason that helped Befikre in collecting such decent amount is the trailer full of youthfulness and modern romance.
The footfalls are mainly occurring in the multiplexes in metro cities and Delhi is the place to fetch highest numbers while the numbers are not bad as well in Bangalore, Mumbai and Pune.
After Ram Leela and Bajirao Mastani, Befikre is the third movie of Ranveer Singh to receive such great opening even though the canvas of this movie is not as big as those. As of now the film is going well in the metros and the weekend may see some rise in the footfalls although it is not a family movie.
Overall, the first day collection is not bad at all and with a small growth of 15-20% the film can take a good position even though it is rated as average by the critics.
