Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor starrer Befikre is running quite successfully in the multiplexes even after receiving a mix reviews from the critics. The movie has hit theatre on Friday and witnessed a steady growth over weekend taking the box office collection over Rs. 35 crores. The 3 days collections are as follows:
Friday – Rs. 10.36 crores
Saturday – Rs. 11.60 crores
Sunday – Rs. 13.55 crores
The movie started with 10.36 crores and then saw a small jump on Saturday while the business on day 3 – Sunday is pretty impressive. The total revenue as of now as estimated is Rs. 35.51 crores. So, the first weekend collection of Befikre can’t be said as bad at all. This Aditya Chopra directorial was made on a budget of 70 crores and the first weekend collection has helped it earn almost 50% of the investment.
The movie is performing well in cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore. Even though this Ranveer Singh starrer movie could not surpass another Ranveer Singh starrer Bajirao Mastani’s first weekend collection but it has managed to beat other good movies like Wazir, Neerja, Udta Punjab and of course Ki and Ka’s first weekend turnover.
