Black Panther arrived at the box office when the holdover Hindi films namely Padman and Padmaavat were performing well. Also, a new Hindi release, Aiyaary, came on the same day to present a stiff competition to the film. Under these conditions,  the movie, Black Panther is performing well since its opening at the box office. Let’s have a look at Black Panther first week collection early estimates in details.

Stronghold at Box Office

Well, all Hollywood films show different trending in India as compared to their performance in the overseas market. Before the release of Black Panther, it was expected to perform exceptionally well but this didn’t happen. After collecting a good amount on its opening day, it showed a drop over its first weekend. Seeing the fall in its collection, it was expected to witness a big drop on Monday but it performed well on its 4th day and earned a good amount.

Due to the poor show by Aiyaary, it got the benefit and Black Panther became the first choice for the audience. Hence, this gave a big boost to its earnings on the weekdays. From Monday onwards, the film has maintained its stronghold and showed little drop even on the weekdays. Now, two new Hindi films are coming on this Friday but they have not created much hype and are not going to affect the performance of Black Panther.
