Both the movies namely Talaash and Ittefaq comprises of mysterious incidents and are good suspense thriller films. Talaash like many other films of Aamir Khan performed well at the box office and kept the audience guessing till the end. On the other hand, Ittefaq is a remake of the film with the same name and also a well-written suspense thriller film.
Talaash released in the year 2012 and was about the murder mystery. It was based on the revenge by a girl’s spirit for the injustice against her. A police inspector was assigned the task of unraveling the murder mystery and in this mission, he had to face the trauma and accept the truth related to his own life.
Talaash started its journey with a solid opening and its first weekend collection was very huge. With the help of rocking performance, in the beginning, it had managed to cross the mark of Rs. 65 crores in its first week. Its performance in the second week was also impressive. Also, the songs of the films were major hits.
Sidharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha starrer Ittefaq is also a murder mystery film. It is a good suspense thriller and keeps the audience guessing till the end.
The opening day collection of the film is slightly low for this low budget film but its growth on the first Saturday and Sunday places its first weekend collection to a decent category. Its overseas collection is better than the domestic one. Ittefaq First Week collection is expected to fall in the range of Rs 22 – 23 crores.
