Things are going bit reverse for Commando 2 when it comes to the box office collection. While it is expected to see some growth over the weekend, the movie started dropping just after the opening day itself. Performance of Vidyut Jammwal and other lead characters are no doubt impressive but there is nothing new in the story as Bollywood has given us such kind of movie in the past many times. However, the day wise collection of Commando 2 is as follows:
Friday- Rs. 5.14 crores
Saturday- Rs. 4.42 crores
Sunday- Rs. 4.54 crores
Thus, this Vipul Shah’s second installment has collected a total number of Rs. 14.10 crores in the domestic box office.
Apart from the same story, another reason why this movie is facing drop in occupancy is the Hollywood movie Logan. Yes, this movie too is running in theaters and audiences are favoring it over Commando 2. Logan is the final franchise of Wolverine and Commando 2 is facing a tough competition from this movie in the multiplexes.
The ongoing trend indicates that Commando 2 will not be able to add much number in the box office in its weekdays, however, let’s see if something unexpected happen for good reasons.
