Vidyut Jammwal starring Commando 2 opened with mixed reviews and witnessed decent success on its opening day. This is the sequel of Commando which was released in 2013. This action packed movie received great appreciation from the critics while the audiences too loved the story. Even though the occupancy was poor in the morning show, around 10-15%, but the evening show witnessed some growth. However, the occupancy in single screen was better than the multiplexes.
Commando 2 raked a business of Rs. 4.40 crores in the domestic market in its opening day. The collection meets the expectation perfectly and it is even better than the collection of the first sequel Commando which collected Rs. 3.69 crores on the opening day.
The movie also features Esha Gupta, Adah Sharma and Freddy Daruwala in the pivotal roles. The performance of Vidyut Jammwal is really impressive while the jaw dropping stunts made everyone surprised. The story is all about how the character of Vidyut fights to hunt the India’s most wanted black money agent and bring back all the laundered black money.
This action thriller movie is expected to see some growth on the weekend as the word of mouth is really positive while the reviews from critics are also favourable.
