Even though the movie Commando 2 failed to earn highly positive reviews from the critics and faced tough competition from the Hollywood movie Logan, but it has still managed to have good hold over audiences. This Vidyut Starrer movie has already surpassed the lifetime business of its previous sequel Commando on day 6. Despite facing major drop on the weekdays Commando 2 now stands at Rs. 21.62 crores in the domestic box office while the first sequel’s lifetime collection was Rs. 21.47 crores. Not just that rather this Deven Bhojani’s directorial has also surpassed the lifetime business of Rangoon.
Commando 2 was opened on last Friday in around 2200 screens and raked a business of Rs. 15.75 crores on the opening weekend. But as it entered into weekdays, the collection started falling gradually. The weekday’s collection of the movie is as follows:
Monday- Rs. 2.24 crores
Tuesday- Rs. 1.93 crores
Wednesday- Rs. 1.70 crores
If the same trend continues for this entire week, it is expected for the movie to collect around Rs. 23-23.50 crores by the end of this weekend.
