Daas Dev movie released today at the box office and received average reviews from the critics. Today, it has to face a stiff competition from the new Hollywood release, Avengers: Infinity War. Also, the holdover film, October would also be there to divide its footfalls in the theaters. Here are the early estimates for Daas Dev first day collection.

Tough Competiton with the Other Films

Richa Chadha and Rahul Bhat starrer Dass Dev is a low- budget film. The acclaimed director, Sudhir Mishra has made a comeback on the big screen and made a very different film. Daas Dev is based on a novel, Devdas and the makers have tried to retell the story from their viewpoint.

The film is clashing with the much-awaited Hollywood film, Avengers: Infinity War which has also hit the theaters today. Not only this, the other challenge for Daas Dev is Soojit Sircar’s October. Yes, the holdover release performed excellently over its first two weeks and crossed Rs. 40 crores at the box office. Varun Dhawan’s film would also present hurdles in the path of the new Hindi release, Daas Dev.

First Day Collection Early Estimates

Daas Dev has been assigned less number of screens and it is only expected to attract the audience from high-class cities. Keeping in mind, the craze of the multi-star Hollywood film, Avengers: Infinity War, there is going to be a one-sided battle in the theatres. Avengers: Infinity War has broken the records of advance booking and it is going to be a difficult task for any other film to survive in front of this giant movie.

Sudhir Mishra’s Daas Dev first day collection is not expected to cross even Rs. 1 crore mark. The reason is obvious, as there are no famous stars present in the film and also the demand for the other film is way too higher. We will update you on the latest update about the film as soon as it is out.
