This Friday witnessed the release of Arjun Rampal starrer Daddy and Deol brother starrer Poster Boys. Both these films are low-budget films and started their journey on less than our expectations.
Daddy
Daddy is based on the life of a real life character and so it was expected to perform well at the box office. However, the story unfolds in an unexpected manner. The film started its journey on a low note and ends up continuing the low collection spree over the week. The stiff competition from other films also affected its performance at the box office.

Update: The film has collected Rs. 0.33 crores on Thursday and takes its collection to Rs. 6.21 crores in its first-week
Poster Boys
Deol brothers starrer Poster Boys released last Friday and opened at much below collection than our expectations. The film took a jump on its first weekend but failed to attract the audience at the box office. The film also faced stiff competition from other films like Baadshaho, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, and Bareilly Ki Barfi. The film is expected to cross a mark of Rs. 11 crores in its first week.

Update: The film collected Rs. 91 lakh on Thursday and its total first-week collection are Rs. 11.20 crores.
