Dangal is just phenomenal. It has managed to do great business on its 5th Weekend at the box office. This week’s Friday started at Rs. 1.19 crores, followed by 2.1 crores on Saturday and the 5th Sunday collections came at 1.95 crores net. India vs England Cricket match affected the performance a little bit.
The total collections till now have reached a huge Rs. 380.21 crores net. This is brilliant and the final collections are likely to finish around 382 crores net. This is without a doubt one of the highest Bollywood collections of all time and is a record for future movies to break.
Ok Jaanu and xXx
Both movies have been somewhat flat in the second weekend with collections being under Rs. 4 crores net. The total collections of OK Jaanu till now have reached Rs. 23 crores. And Xander cage is at Rs. 28 crores net. Both are dismal figures much lower than expectations. Both of them are going to add approximately 1 crores more to their finally tally, as new movies release on 25th January.
I guess, we will have to wait till Raees and Kaabil release to see some excellent numbers at the box office for the year 2017.
