Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Aamir Khan Production House, Dangal is creating record with each passing day. The 5th day collection of the movie is terrific. With a total of Rs. 22 crores, it has been again able to become the highest Tuesday collection ever by the figure.
The morning show witnessed 50% occupancy but it was increased to 60% by noon and the occupancy in evening, night show was really very decent. North India is the place to contribute large part of the collections while many of the places there saw packed theatre on Tuesday also just as Friday.
The total Dangal collection stands at Rs. 260 crores including the international box office figure just on 4 days while it is assuming that adding the 5th day collection the movie will be able to reach their aim Rs. 300 crores. However, the movie has already entered weekdays and the holiday effect is also over, so the collection is expected to become normal now.
This biological sports film based on Mahavir Singh Phogat’s life story is riding very high and it is to see now if the movie can beat another Aamir Khan’s hit movie PK.
