Last week release, Firangi, came with high hopes at the box office. Kapil Sharma’s last release Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon was impressive but Firangi fails to repeat the similar trending at the box office. Firangi First week collection shows a dull performance of the film and its failure to take advantage of a wonderful opportunity due to the postponement of Padmavati.

Firangi First Week Collection Shows Poor Performance

Kapil Sharma, who had enthralled the audience with his excellent comedy in his first film, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, fails to repeat the same magic in Firangi. The film failed to receive the kind of start expected by the makers and the whole story changes at the box office.

The film took 4 days to cross the first day collection of Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, this too in a low competition week. Had there been a big film like Padmavati in the same week, the situation could have been even worse. The lifetime business of the film is not going to cross the mark of the first two-day collection of Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon. The changed image of Kapil Sharma’s character in the film might be the reason for such a low number of footfalls for the film.

Here is the day-wise collection of the film:

  • Friday – Rs. 2.10 crores
  • Saturday – Rs. 2.31 crores
  • Sunday – Rs. 2.65 crores
  • Monday – Rs. 1.35 crores
  • Tuesday – Rs. 1.04 crores
  • Wednesday – Rs. 0.95 crores
  • Thursday – Rs. 0.85 crores (Updated)

Total – Rs. 11.25 crores (Updated)

  • Monday – Rs. 0.25 crores
  • Tuesday – Rs. 0.25 crores
