Another film of Golmaal franchise named Golmaal Again released on Friday and gave an earth-shattering performance on its opening day. The film released at the time of the festival season and hence had the burden of a responsibility to entertain the huge fan following of Golmaal series. Golmaal Again managed to fulfill the demand of the audience and performed in an extraordinary fashion on the first day.
The combination of cast team, franchise fame, the hype of the movie before its release and the adequate timing of its release during holidays contributed to taking the film’s business on the first day to a great height. Rohit Shetty has directed the film very well and this kind of masala entertainer never goes out of fashion. Also, the combination of Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn has crossed Rs. 30 crores barrier for the second time. Their previous release, Singham Returns, also earned a massive number of Rs. 32.09 crores. It was a good decision to release the movie during Diwali days because the audience prefers a light-hearted movie to enjoy their day during festivals with family.
Seeing the Friday and Saturday box office collection of Golmaal Again, it is expected to register a good Sunday Collection. Also, Aamir Khan’s production Secret Superstar is performing well at the box office but it is a different genre so it is not going to affect Golmaal Again’s collection to large extent.
Golmaal Again Sunday Collection is expected to cross a mark of Rs. 25 crores which means the film would cross a mark of Rs. 80 crores in just three days of its release. Since no big masala entertainer is scheduled to release in the coming week, so it is a good chance for the film to do a good business in the coming days.
