Irrfan Khan starrer Hindi Medium is ruling the box office in full swing. In spite of a many new Bollywood and Hollywood releases, the film has managed to do good collections in its 4th week too. The film is a satirical comedy-drama, based on the Indian education system. The film also stars Pakistani Actress Saba Qamar, who has been appreciated by the audience for her splendid performance.
The film has managed to collect Rs. 65 lacs on it’s 4th Tuesday and now stands with a grand total of Rs. 63.72 crores. The film not only turns out to be a successful project for its makers but also a very profitable venture. Made on a moderate budget of 22 crores, the film has collected 41.72 crores more, which takes its profit to 190 percent. The film has crossed 100 crores benchmark globally at the box office. Till now, the film has grossed Rs. 91.75 crores in India and Rs. 14 crores in the international market. it now stands with the worldwide collection of Rs. 105.75 crores.
The film revolves around a couple who wants to give their daughter a quality education so that she does not feel inferior to elite children of the society. It also raises a serious issue that every child should be provided the same level of education irrespective of economic status. The film is directed by Saket Chaudhary.
