Indu Sarkar is doing very poor business at the box office. Even after being on a very controversial topic related to Politics, the film has failed to garner the right kind of attention. It can be said that lack of promotion has seriously affected the business of film. Indu Sarkar’s First week collection came below par and the film is headed to be a flop.

- Saturday – Rs. 1.05 crore
- Sunday – Rs. 1.35 crore
- Monday – Rs. 40 Lakh
- Tuesday – Rs. 35 Lakh
- Wednesday – Rs. 31.5 Lakhs
- Thursday – Rs. 28.78 Lakhs ( estimated)
Total = Rs. 4.7 crore
Even though a low budget film, but still the Distributors are not going to make any profit with Indu Sarkar at all. Had this film released at any other time with some promotions before the release the scenario today would have been different. The film received very positive reviews from the critics, so it would have worked in the favor of the film. But no point discussing it now as the producers already made the wrong decision.
Indu Sarkar is also facing stiff competition from Mubarakan which is likely to touch the mark of 35 crores this week, which will be very close to its lifetime collections. And Jab Harry Met Sejal releasing this Friday would halt the business of both these movies.
