Both Ittefaq and Thor Ragnarok completed their first week with a low and good collection respectively. The films started their second week journey with other new films in the race. Ittefaq 2nd weekend collection does not show impressive numbers but Thor Ragnarok second weekend remains ends with a good collection. Let’s have a look at the second weekend collection of both the films in detail.
Ittefaq 2nd Weekend Collection
Ittefaq started its journey with a low collection but ended its first weekend with a decent collection. The film showed decent trending on the weekdays. It was expected to start its second week with a good collection but this did not happen. This is because of the competition from the steady performance of holdover and new releases.
Ittefaq 2nd weekend collection remained lower than Qarib Qarib Singlle first weekend. This number could have been worse if the other new releases also started well. Now, to cross a mark of Rs. 30 crores, it needs to perform well on the weekdays which is unlikely the case.
First Week – Rs. 23.65 crores
- Friday – Rs. 0.85 crores
- Saturday – Rs. 1.35 crores
- Sunday – Rs. 1.55 crores
Total – Rs. 27.40 crores
Thor Ragnarok Second Weekend Collection
Hollywood release Thor Ragnarok ended its first week with a good collection and crosses Rs. 40 crores mark. The film started its second weekend on a similar note. It earned more than new Hindi release, Qarib Qarib Singlle, on the second weekend. The film earns lower than Spiderman: The Home Coming and is second highest Hollywood grosser of the year.
Clearly, the film has shown its dominance over other Bollywood films and is expected to end its second week with a good collection. Let’s have a look at the second week collection of the film.
First Week – Rs. 40.37 crores
- Friday – Rs. 2.14 crores
- Saturday – Rs. 3.62 crores
- Sunday – Rs. 4.25 crores
Total – Rs. 50.38 crores
